Decanters

Decanters are horizontal centrifuges that continuously separate suspended solids from liquid; the internal scroll turns at a different speed from the bowl to convey the settled solids out. The heaviest load falls on the scroll flights and the bowl, running on abrasive sludge and pomace, the flights wear down and dewatering and separation efficiency drop.

We measure scroll wear, renew the flights with tile and powder coating, clean and balance the bowl, and check the gearbox. Whatever the brand, we supply spare parts and overhaul in our workshop ahead of the season or a planned shutdown.
